











Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to work with your subconscious mind to make positive changes to how you think, feel and act. It is the only talking therapy that works directly with your subconscious and can be a very quick and effective.

The process typically involves a trained hypnotherapist guiding the individual into a trance-like state through verbal suggestions and relaxation techniques. While in this state, the therapist may suggest positive changes or strategies to help the individual cope with their challenges.

It's important to note that hypnotherapy is not a form of mind control; individuals remain aware of their surroundings and can choose to accept or reject suggestions made during the session.

Phobias can develop when an individual has an intense fear surrounding a certain situation or object. They are often more intense than fear and can lead to anxiety and panic attacks for some people. Many of my client’s phobias exist in their subconscious and are learned responses. Hypnotherapy can help you unlearn the fear response and ease the associated anxiety with your phobia.
Weight loss with hypnotherapy is not a diet. It is a whole new permanent and mindful approach to eating and drinking. I offer a choice of either a 4 or 6 session weight loss programme. This can be either my Hypnoslimjab programme, which is a safe alternative to slimming injections, or my Empowered Eating programme, where each session is tailored to your individual needs, such as binge eating, portion control, etc….

Both programmes include a 60-minute online weekly session with me, where we discuss your goals, mood, lifestyle, and monitor your weekly progress. Each session will include hypnosis and an audio recording for you to listen to. These programmes also come with client workbooks, journals, and trackers.

During the first session, the first half of the session is dedicated to us discussing why you have come to see me and the things you would like to use hypnotherapy for. Prior to your first session you will have completed a questionnaire about yourself, your health and events during your life, so we will discuss these also. Then the second half of the session is your first hypnotherapy session. You will be invited to relax in a quiet comfortable space where I will then guide you into hypnosis.

This varies depending on what you are looking to treat with hypnotherapy. We will discuss this during our initial phone call but a good guide is usually we will start with 3 depending on how you are getting on with the process. Some programmes such as weight loss and anxiety, benefit from a 6-8 session minimum commitment.
I offer hypnotherapy sessions online which works just as effectively as in person… so distance and location is no barrier to working with me, we will work online via Zoom video call. There are a few things that can make your experience better. A good internet connection is essential, a quiet and peaceful environment, a set of headphones ensures the experience is as deep as possible. That’s all you need. You can you use a laptop or tablet, and even your phone if needed.
Hypnosis is a natural state for the human body and mind to be in. You will feel deeply physically relaxed. You will be alert and will be able to hear me, although you may not hear every word. Importantly, you will be in full control at all times, the therapist cannot make you do anything you do not wish to or is against our ethical and moral code. If you wish to stop, you will be able to do so.
You will be in control the entire time and should you wish to stop the session at any time, you will be able to. I cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do.
Hypnosis is a completely natural state which you will have experienced many times before. The only side effects that you will experience are a sense of well- being and calm. Clients often report sleeping better, feeling calmer, more confident and a general sense of well- being following sessions.
